Our Club has evolved as our City has evolved, with service projects changing from year to year, and as the needs of our community require a commitment of the organizations to step forward.   The activities listed to the right are just a sampling of our involvement in the community over the years.  They represent a group of women caring for our children, women and our community, working as a team and completing amazing feats.

As an international organization our efforts extend beyond our borders, and we have a global reach with an impact on women’s legislation, making a difference for women in need in emerging countries, and helping in crises situations. We share in the wisdom of women located in 120 countries collectively making a difference in the lives of women and children.

Soroptimist International of Citrus Heights (SICH) was chartered on April 18, 1973.  Our organization serves the women and children of Citrus Heights, as well as supports numerous organizations that are part of the City’s infrastructure.  We share an integral part of the City’s growth and commitment to improving the life of the citizens of our community.  SICH is one of many Soroptimist clubs in 120 countries throughout the world working to make a difference in the lives of women and girls.  We work in tandem with our region, federation and international organizations.

SICH members are parents, businesswomen, homemakers, students, and retirees.   There is an opportunity to put your efforts forward in a collective way that makes serving our community rewarding in so many ways.  We have an opportunity for service, camaraderie, leadership, and fund-raising

SICH invites you to come visit at one of our meetings, volunteer in one of our service projects, or join us at one of our fund-raisers
