Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls is a program put on jointly by SOROPTIMIST International of Citrus Heights ( SICH ) and the GFWC Citrus Heights Women’s club both are 501c3 nonprofit organizations. This event is put on in conjunction with San Juan High School to provide high school girls with the tools to help them develop career goals, learn career options and understanding the importance of being a leader in the community after graduation.
*The 1st will be held on Friday September 9th, starting with a lunch then introducing the girls to social media safety, dressing for the job you want, private conversations with a RN, and meeting a panel of women in various fields and closing with a zumba dance session.

*The 2nd session will be focused on expanding their horizons, how to achieve a goal and realize their true potential. This session will be held in May.
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls will help girls grow up to be strong, successful, happy adults.

Soroptimist clubs will work in partnership with girls in small groups or a conference setting to provide them with the information and resources they want and need to be successful.
The topics covered include career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles to success and how to move forward after setbacks or failures.
